Samuel DeWitt currently serves as an Attorney-Advisor at the Advanced Research Project Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). As an Attorney-Advisor, Sam works with the Office of Chief Counsel to provide legal advice and counsel on a wide variety of legal and policy matters relevant to ARPA-E’s mission.

Prior to joining ARPA-E, he worked as a Legal Fellow at American Electric Power in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he served as a Staff Editor for the Ohio State Law Journal and completed externships at the Supreme Court of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy & Decision Making from The Ohio State University.
